What is SPhL Grand Finals?
Top teams from the SPhL 2026 Junior and Senior Categories will be invited for the Grand Finals, which are full-day events filled with entirely different problems styles and new exciting competition mechanics. Besides the competition, you can also look forward to opportunities to engage with Guest Lecturers, our sponsors, and other participants!

scheduleWhen and where?
The SPhL Grand Finals will be a fully physical event held at the Singapore University of Technology and Design.
  • Junior Grand Finals: 18 July 2026 (Saturday), 9:00am to 6:00pm.
  • Senior Grand Finals: 25 July 2026 (Saturday), 9:00am to 7:00pm.

What are the awards?
SPhL Grand Finals will determine the medal placements of teams above Bronze for each category. All teams will be awarded physical certificates based on their performance, as well as goodie bags filled with exclusive merchandise from SPhL and our sponsors. The top teams will also receive special prizes!
What if I'm not available in the morning/afternoon?
As the competition has two rounds, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, participants that cannot make the full event may attend only one round. However, do note that your team may be placed at a disadvantage in the other round if you have fewer than 3 members.
What if I'm not available for the whole competition duration?
If your team is selected for finals, all members will earn a Bronze medal by default. If you do not attend the finals at all, your medal will remain Bronze, regardless of your team's performance in the Grand Finals. Your team will still be able to achieve higher medals without you; however, you will personally not be able to receive the medal for your team's performance.
What activities should I expect during Grand Finals?
Besides the competition, you can enjoy a catered lunch, talks from researchers, and tours of SUTD.
